December’s Bon Appétit has a recipe for one of my all-time favorite fall-time treats: chestnuts. It’s called Dan Roman’s Buttery Roasted Chestnuts in Foil and it is to die for. I cut the recipe in half since I only had one pound of chestnuts and used thyme instead of rosemary. It provided pure life while I was watching Oprah’s Favorite Things 2012. If you like chestnuts even a little bit, I suggest you fall in.
